Darlington Ahaiwe
Founder and Principal

Darlington comes  with over 15 years of financial services experience in the combined public and nonprofit sectors. During this time, he has held nearly every position within a finance team, providing him with a unique and nuanced perspective of organizational needs and processes. His keen financial acumen, coupled with a steadfast commitment to mission, has yielded careful management of significant government contracts and multi-level audits.

As a native Angelino, Darlington has a passion for social impact, especially as it relates to bridging the inequity gap that currently exists in K-12 education. Prior to Charter Impact, he served as the Chief Finance Officer to Woodcraft Rangers, a Los Angeles based non-profit with nearly a 100-year history in servicing youth to explore and develop themselves through sports, arts & media, STEM, dual language enrichment, health & wellness, and youth leadership at camps and afterschool programs throughout the county.

Utilizing a deep understanding of change management, Darlington successfully restructured the financial operations of the organization, establishing processes that created efficiencies which brought improved operating margins and the successful acquisition of additional government funding.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience managing federal, state and local funding and has led organizations through multiple years of clean A-133 audits.

Darlington holds a Master of Business Administration from the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from University of California, Santa Barbara.
